Burnell Bonnet. Coffee Table. November 29th , 2017.
In the end both are great and have their place in the home. I rarely meet a coffee table I don't like for some reason. The most important thing is to select the one that best complements the look and feel of the room you plan to place it in and your house as a whole.
The easiest answer is: What about both? You might have two living areas that could benefit from a coffee table and there's no reason that a wood coffee table and a glass coffee table can't be togethe in the same house. However it may be that space and budget are concerns and you may only be able to purchase one table right now. So you find yourself faced with a decision.
An impromptu workstation - Again more often than not space considerations have converted the erstwhile table for coffee into a table for just about anything. If one of the family members wants to work undisturbed the living room table makes for a reasonably isolated workspace for homework planning or typing on a laptop computer. This is practical especially in apartments or studio flats. The living room can serve the double function of an office or den.
Material.Coffee tables are made of different types of materials like steel brass or a combination of both for a classic look. They are also made from the wood of maple oak or walnut just to name a few. Cherry and walnut give a formal look to the tables.
